I'm a playwright, screenwriter & dramaturg based in Edinburgh. I’m currently developing work for theatre, film and television. I’m best known for my stage play LOVE SONG TO LAVENDER MENACE, which premiered at Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh in 2017 and the original production directed by Ros Philips, was part of the Made in Scotland Showcase in 2018 and has toured internationally including a run off-Broadway at SoHo Playhouse, NYC.
I recently wrote the text for EMMA AND GILL, created by Gill Roberton, Maria Oller and Emma McCaffrey. for Catherine Wheels Theatre Company and Lung Ha Theatre Company.

LOVE SONG TO LAVENDER MENACE will transfer to the main stage of Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh from 9 -12 October 2019.
Previous plays include I HEART MATHS for Oran Mor, SPAIN for Glasgay and UP for the The Vault, Edinburgh Fringe. All my plays are published by Oberon Books.
As a screenwriter, I’m writing my first feature, LOVE SONG TO LAVENDER MENACE, produced by Compact Picture and supported by SFTN.
DRAMATURGY & VPT
I work in the literary department as script assistant, assistant screenwriter and dramaturg for film and theatre. I like to come on board with projects on a consultancy basis. I'm also the founder member and producer of the Village Pub Theatre, a theatre company based in Leith that presents readings of new short plays for development.
My first feature LOVE SONG TO LAVENDER MENACE is in development, produced by Compact Pictures, funded by the Scottish Film Talent Network.
